Too bad! I <s>am paranoid<\/s> prefer to be discreet with my personal data on the Internet. Here&#8217;s still a little portrait of me, Camino inspired:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If I were a&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Camino:<\/strong> the Primitivo<\/li><li><strong>region:<\/strong> Galicia<\/li><li><strong>starting point:<\/strong> Strasbourg (North-East of France)<\/li><li><strong>stage:<\/strong> Nasbinals-Aubrac (Le Puy Route, France)<\/li><li><strong>accommodation:<\/strong> a night outside without a tent<\/li><li><strong>season:<\/strong> winter<\/li><li><strong>landscape:<\/strong> a forest<\/li><li><strong>piece of equipment :<\/strong> my backpack<\/li><li><strong>book:<\/strong> After the Ecstasy, the Laundry by Jack Kornfield or The Way of a Pilgrim<\/li><li><strong>dish:<\/strong> a (good!) tuna sandwich (yummmm <strong>\u2665<\/strong>)<\/li><li><strong>dessert:<\/strong> a vanilla \u00e9clair (yummmm again <strong>\u2665<\/strong>)<\/li><li><strong>drink:<\/strong> water, eventually with sparkles<\/li><li><strong>symbol:<\/strong> a scallop with a pearl<\/li><li><strong>ritual:<\/strong> giving thank before Santiago<\/li><li><strong>word:<\/strong> &#8220;courage&#8221;, by its original meaning (doing the action of the heart!)<\/li><li><strong>advice:<\/strong> slow down! And enjoy.<\/li><li><strong>last word:<\/strong> Buen Camino!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Once a pilgrim, (since) always a pilgrim&#8230;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I was born holding a suitcase, but I quickly swapped it for a backpack.<\/strong> It&#8217;s more practical, especially to travel light everywhere. On the Camino of course, but not only there. I really have itchy feet&#8230; A moment here, some time there, <strong>I find balance in the impermanence of things.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-rounded\"><figure class=\"alignright size-medium is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/santiagoinlove.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2016\/03\/Santiago.jpg\" alt=\"Santiago de Compostela\" class=\"wp-image-51\" width=\"240\" height=\"325\" srcset=\"https:\/\/santiagoinlove.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2016\/03\/Santiago.jpg 480w, https:\/\/santiagoinlove.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2016\/03\/Santiago-222x300.jpg 222w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I grew up hearing about the Way<\/strong>. My oldest souvenir dates back to a children magazine that explained the pilgrimage to kids. But it&#8217;s only years later that the Camino became a tangible reality in my life. <strong>2010, first calling to hit the road: leaving was so obvious to me.<\/strong> As a romantic soul or just bad at compromising, I decided I&#8217;d go from Strasbourg, France to Santiago! <strong>Saint James became a friend<\/strong>, to whom I since paid numerous visits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because surely enough, a certain &#8220;Caminositis&#8221; got me. <strong>The Ways became an essential aspect of my life<\/strong>. I went walking again of course! <strong>More than 6 000km-3 700 miles of pilgrimage<\/strong> through about 20 different sections of the Camino. But I also worked <strong>for several years at the Pilgrim&#8217;s Store<\/strong> in Saint Jean Pied de Port. And of course, I created <strong>Santiago in Love<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center\">From Santiago de Compostela to Santiago in Love<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Wandering on the Ways made me discover <strong>the world of the Camino<\/strong>, with everything\u00a0that contributes to\u00a0its depth and diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Traveling<\/strong>, from gears to accommodations and tracks;<\/li><li><strong>Culture<\/strong>, from history to arts and Men;<\/li><li><strong>Camino community<\/strong>, from tourists to pilgrims and Camino professionals;<\/li><li><strong>Esotericism<\/strong>, from religion to spirituality and subtle experiences. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All of this and so much more awakened my interest and never stopped to captivate me since! Because I&#8217;m in love with the Camino. But also because the Camino is full of Love (yes, the one with the capital A!). In a word, <strong>a website for every Camino Lover<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In practice: news, stories, advice, cultural information, pieces of history, books or movie critics, personal creations, and so on and so on. The Camino through and through and more.
